Jeopardy Games

Here's an oldie but goodie... there are multiple versions of this on the internet but here and here are two good examples. You can download templates to use with Microsoft Power Point to create Jeopardy games to play with your students. My students had a lot of fun with this- I've never seen a group of high school seniors get so excited about Shakespeare's Macbeth as when there was a little good old-fashioned competition involved. When you download these templates, they come with all the directions for how to fill out your questions and answers... (remember: with Jeopardy, the ANSWER comes first and the question is the response). They are also set up with all of the hard work done- each page links to the proper page so all you have to do is point and click!

Now, the only thing these templates don't do for you is keep score, so you'll have to figure out your own system for that.

Here's what the main page of my jeopardy game looked like- the question links even change to a different color once you've used the question so you know which questions are left!
Making a game like this can turn an otherwise boring review session into a lot of fun... just be careful- your students may get really into it!
